Who the D'Amelios are
Marc and Heidi D'Amelio raised their daughters, Dixie and Charli, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Marc, born in New York City, spent three decades in the apparel business, building his own Connecticut sales agency. Heidi, born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, worked as a personal trainer and photographer; she and Marc met in New York City. The girls grew up there, a regular Connecticut family.
Then the internet found them. Charli's TikTok account took off in 2019 and became one of the most-followed in the world, and the family grew alongside it: Dixie's music career, Heidi and Marc's own audiences, and a combined family following in the hundreds of millions. In 2020 the D'Amelios signed with UTA and moved to Los Angeles.
What followed was a run few families have had: The D'Amelio Show, three seasons on Hulu. Dancing with the Stars, where Heidi competed and Charli took home the Mirrorball. Dixie's 86M+ streams and two national headline tours. D'Amelio Brands, founded in 2022, home of D'Amelio Footwear and Be Happy Snacks. Fashion Group International honored the family at Night of Stars in 2024, and in 2025 Marc was named Father of the Year by the Father's Day Council.
Today the family lives and builds in Los Angeles, still doing it the way they started: together. This site is the front door to all of it.
